Are you passionate about the great outdoors and enjoy being on the water? Lough Key Boats is currently seeking energetic and experienced individuals to join our team for the summer season! We are hiring boat crew members to hire out rowing boats and conduct guided boat tours. This is the perfect opportunity for those who love boating and interacting with people.

Positions Available:

  • Rowing Boat Crew: Assist customers with boat rentals, ensure safety protocols are followed, and manage equipment.
  • Guided Tour Boat Crew: Conduct boat tours, provide informative and engaging narratives about the area, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Lough Key Boat Tour


Sit back and relax on The Trinity M.V.
We have 40 seats onboard and you will be enlightened and entertained by your guide. The boat tour will last an hour as you cruise around Lough Key learning about the history and the folklore of the many interesting islands Trinity Island, Castle Island and Teddy Bear Island...

Rowing Boats for Hire


Explore the great outdoors with a self-guided trip on a rowing boat. Our easy to use boats are perfect for a family day out or a romantic couple or just good fun with friends.
Located at the harbour is a fleet of 18 foot rowing boats available for hourly rental.
Cost 40 Euro Per Hour for up to 5 persons Tickets can be at the harbour boat house
We are weekends May & June 12PM - 6PM Open Daily July and August 11AM - 6PM
